Come and celebrate the Buddhist holy day, LhaBab Duchen on Nov. 24th at DKC and also online. We will also celebrate HH Drikung Kyabgon Chungstang’s birthday. This special holy day commemorates Buddha Shakyamuni’s Decent from Tushita Heaven and it is one of the four major Buddhist festivals commemorating four events in the life of the Buddha, according to Tibetan traditions. Lha Bab Düchen occurs on the 22nd day of the ninth Tibetan lunar month and celebrates Buddha's return to the human realm after teaching his mother for three months in the Gods realm.

We will join together for the Dharma practice of Lama Chopa (Guru Yoga). Program starts at 10am PT along with a TSOK (food offering). Program will be followed by a community potluck lunch.
