White Dzambala meditation and practice retreat with Drupon Samten Rinpoche and DKC monastics. If you are not able to attend all 3 days, you may attend whichever days you can. This retreat will be a great blessing as His Holiness is presently staying at DKC. This retreat will be very beneficial for oneself, and others, and to help restore the environment. We will have a daily potluck lunch or please bring your lunch if you have a special diet.
We are honored to announce, with respect and devotion, that His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang will join us for this year’s Tibetan New Year (Losar) program filled with prayers, celebrations and the annual scared tantric Lama dances. It is very auspicious that His Holiness will be here as it is both rare and precious that His Holiness is outside of Asia during this time of the year.
We are especially happy to announce that on Sunday Feb. 23rd 2pm to 4:30pm, His Holiness will bestow the blessing empowerment of Parnashavari, the Goddess Who Eliminates All Diseases. It is very important to receive this empowerment, as there are many illnesses’, diseases and difficulties being encountered around the world. This deity is the manifestation of the semi-wrathful form on Buddha Vairochana. Specifically, this deity practice has been recommended by His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang. His Holiness also made this announcement and advise to the Tibetan people. His Holiness said that the practice of this illustrious goddess can help protect against the coronavirus and other illness. Thus, we respectfully invite everyone to receive this empowerment to aide in protecting oneself and to engage in prayers and mantra recitation for the benefit of others. Parnashavari mantra and dharma practice can also protect from obstacles caused by the 8 classes of spirits. By engaging in this practice, it can help to both restore and protect one’s lifeforce and bring more peace on earth. During this critical time it is important for all of us to take Bodhisattva actions such as receiving this blessing empowerment for the benefit of others.
