Dear everyone, Here are the details for Drupon Samten Rinpoche’s 49-Day ceremony to be held on August 3rd from 9am PT to 6pm PT. Registration includes both in-person and online (Zoom). For in-person, you should have already submitted your registration through the online web page. We deeply appreciate your donation to help us with all the offerings and prayers for our precious teachers’ ceremonies.
We are very fortunate to have many high lamas and monastics joining us in person for these prayers and they have traveled from different places to attend this important ceremony for Rinpoche during his transition. In attendance (in person) will be Drupon Richen Dorje, Drupon Gompo Dorjey, Drupon Trinley Ningpo, Khenpo Tsultrim, Khenpo Samdup, Khenpo Tenzin, Lama Gabe, Lama Sonam, Lama Norbu, Lama Namdak, Lama Abo, Lama Kalsang, Ani Tanzin, Ani Stanzin Chorol, Ani Dolkhar, Ani Chodron.
the primary focus for the day will be reciting the long mantra of Namgyalma. The long mantra will be printed for those on site and available in the text as well or download seperate page.
The lamas have built an incredible mandala in the center of the DKC shrineroom with the following offerings that will be made during the cremony: 1000 parasols, 1000 victory banners, 1000 tormas, 1000 incense, 1000 flowers. We will upload some photos later on.

For In-Person registrants, please see below.
The DKC Board members are requesting that everyone please where masks while inside the monastery. There is an increase in COVID and many people traveling from different places and this is the first large event that DKC has hosted for some time. We appreciate everyone’s understanding on this.
Please follow the guidance of the parking attendance. We should be fine for parking on-site. If for some reason the parking is full, please PARK on SHERIDAN AVE (not on Sheridan Place). This helps DKC to stay in harmony with our close neighbors. LUNCH will be vegetarian only for Wednesday to correspond with the specific prayer ceremony.
Keeping GO GREEN in mind, please be mindful about our recycling and trash management.
The Namgyalma text to be used will be shared in Zoom and printed for those who attend in person. It is also available here for download. This Dharma text includes English and Tibetan. If other languages are available, we will also add to the website for download.
Thank you for any help you can give in being patience for any mistakes or imperfections in the program venue. We are trying our best with our small group and look forward to adding more volunteers in the future.
